From ship-to-ship connections to permanent docks, and from offshore platform protection to yacht mooring, wear-resistant inflatable fenders designed and manufactured by Aorunda factory provide reliable strength and a long service life, protecting both vessels and facilities.
Ordinary fenders on the market tend to crack and age after 1-2 years of use. Aorunda completely solves this problem through improvements in both formula and structure:
The outer layer of our inflatable fenders is made of a blend of imported natural rubber and styrene-butadiene rubber, with a rubber content exceeding 50%, and features specially added herringbone or spiral-patterned wear-resistant rubber strips. This pattern design not only increases friction with the ship's hull but also evenly distributes impact pressure.
Combined with optional hot-dip galvanized chain nets or recycled tire protective layers, our fenders can withstand wave impacts even after prolonged immersion in seawater or repeated friction from ship hulls.
In island and reef construction projects, our fenders withstood wave impacts for three consecutive months without any leaks or structural damage. The normal service life can reach 8-10 years, with an annual air leakage rate of less than 5%.
The biggest concern when a ship docks is hard collisions, which can lead to scratches on the hull coating or damage to the dock structure.
Aorunda Wear-Resistant Inflatable Fenders use compressed air as a cushioning medium, and the internal framework is made of multiple layers of nylon-impregnated cord fabric. The breaking strength of a single layer of cord fabric can reach 313.6N, and it is formed through overall winding and hot vulcanization processes.
The entire airbag body is seamless, and the pressure distribution is exceptionally uniform. During a collision, it acts like an elastic air cushion, quickly deforming and absorbing the impact force. The energy absorption rate can reach 0.8-1.2 kN·m/kg, and the surface pressure does not exceed 300 kPa. The recoil force is only half that of traditional fenders, allowing even sophisticated vessels like LNG carriers to dock smoothly and avoid damage.
Whether you have a 500-ton fishing vessel or a 100,000-ton oil tanker, whether it's a shallow-water port or a deep-sea platform, you can find the right model here:
Diameters range from 0.3 meters to 4.5 meters, and lengths from 0.5 meter to 10.5 meters, supporting full-specification customization and offering two structural types: protective cover type and suspension type.
The protective cover type features a quickly replaceable protective net cover, allowing for one-person operation during transportation;
The suspension type is equipped with a rotating lifting device, enabling flexible response to multi-angle impacts even when the vessel is tilted during docking.
With 10 specifications of flange fittings and a dedicated toolbox, 20 sets of equipment can be deployed on-site in just 3 days. Subsequent maintenance only requires regular air pressure checks, making it simple and convenient.
Aorunda never relies on flashy advertising, but instead proves its strength through standards and testing. Our products are manufactured strictly according to the international standard ISO 17357:2002 and the domestic standard CB/T 3948. We have obtained ISO 9001 quality system certification and are recognized by authoritative organizations such as China Classification Society (CCS), BV, and Det Norske Veritas (DNV).
During the production process, we use 3D animation simulation to optimize the structure. Each batch of products undergoes 3000 dynamic compression tests. Even under repeated compression at a 30° inclination angle, the energy absorption efficiency remains above 95%, and the explosion-proof performance and airtightness are at the industry's leading level.
Maritime Transport: Ship-to-ship (STS) connections and ship-to-dock (STD) berthing for container ships, oil tankers, and bulk carriers.
Port Terminals: Fixed protection for dock walls, breakwaters, and naval ports, adaptable to tidal changes.
Offshore Engineering: Collision protection for offshore platforms, floating production storage and offloading units, and cross-sea bridges.
Leisure Shipping: Mooring and cushioning for large yachts and luxury cruise ships, protecting the hull paint from damage.
Real protection is built from the inside out. At the Aorunda facility, our production floor is equipped with heavy-duty vulcanization tanks and automated winding systems that ensure every layer of rubber and cord is fused perfectly.
The images of our workshop show the scale of our commitment to quality. We use these industrial-grade machines to maintain total control over the density and structural integrity of our Wear-Resistant Inflatable Fenders.
By combining many years of technical heritage with high-spec equipment, we ensure that every fender leaving our factory is ready to handle the extreme pressures of maritime docking. It’s not just about manufacturing; it's about the precision of the cure and the strength of the finish.
Aorunda continues to strengthen its global presence, showcasing our expertise at leading international maritime exhibitions. Our booth has become a key meeting point for industry professionals seeking heavy-duty docking solutions.
The photos from our latest shows capture the team in action—engaging with global partners and demonstrating the superior durability of our wear-resistant inflatable fenders. These events allow us to bring our factory’s 26-year heritage directly to the client, proving the physical strength and advanced material technology of our products in person.
From technical consultations to new partnerships, Aorunda remains committed to delivering world-class protection for every vessel and port we serve.
True durability starts on the factory floor. These images offer a direct look at the Aorunda manufacturing environment, where heavy-duty industrial equipment meets rigorous production standards.
Our workshop is centered around large-scale vulcanization units and automated winding lines specifically designed for inflatable fenders. By maintaining complete oversight of the assembly and curing process, we ensure that every fender has the structural integrity required for high-impact docking.
This hands-on manufacturing approach allows us to verify the quality of each unit before it ever hits the water, providing a level of reliability that only a fully-equipped facility can deliver.
Aorunda Rubber is China leading manufacturer of Pneumatic Rubber Fenders. Our products are manufactured and tested in accordance with ISO17357:2002(Ships and marine technology - Pneumatic rubber fenders)
Aorunda Pneumatic rubber fender (for ship use) uses compressed-air as medium to absorb the energy from impact. The sides of ships are softer when berthing, k so the result of collision-avoiding is achieved.

Frequently check whether the fender body is damaged and whether the pressure is normal, and the valve core must be replaced every six months.
The steel wire should wrap the rubber pipe, when trying steel wire to pneumatic rubber fender in case the fender is stabbed.
The surface or subject next to the pneumatic rubber fender can’t be hard and sharp-pointed in case the pneumatic rubber fender is stabbed.
The accessories and jip’s nuts can’t be loose when testing the internal pressure.
The rope net should be reliable, the steel wire used for hanging metal parts and the hook link can’t be tied in disorder.
1. When not using for a long time, wash the surface of the fender, dry up and fill in sufficient right amount of compressed air to lay them in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place.
2. The storage place of pneumatic rubber fender should be far away from hear source.
3. Try to keep fender away from acid, alkali, grease and organic solvents.
4. When not applying the fenders, the pneumatic rubber fender can’t be piled up and heavy items can’t be piled on the fender.
1. Warranty period: 24 months.
