Need high-quality inflatable fenders? Qingdao Aorunda is a reliable manufacturer established in 1996. We have a production base of over 30,000 square meters. Our product design and processing are centered on safety, durability, and reliability. We are not just a factory, but a reliable engineering partner, providing you with comprehensive services.
Inflatable fenders are among the most widely used berthing protection devices in ports, shipyards, and marine engineering projects. Compared with traditional solid fenders, these products have more obvious advantages in terms of energy absorption efficiency, safety, and adaptability.
Our fenders effectively absorb the ship's kinetic energy during berthing while maintaining low reaction force, preventing the impact from rebounding back to the hull or dock. This reduces stress on the ship's structure and minimizes damage to dock concrete and steel structures, making them particularly suitable for large ships and high berthing-energy situations.
Inflatable fenders adapt to different ship types and berthing angles. Their excellent elasticity and deformation capabilities allow them to automatically adapt to different ship curvatures, irregular berthing angles, and height differences caused by tidal variations—all challenges encountered in practical use. Aorunda's products maintain stable protective performance even under complex conditions.
As a manufacturer and supplier with over 30 years of experience, Qingdao Aorunda designs products suitable for international port and marine engineering projects. We design and manufacture strictly according to international standards such as ISO 17357, and our products can be certified by classification societies such as CCS, LR, DNV, ABS, and BV, meeting global project access requirements.
Compared to solid rubber fenders, inflatable fenders are lighter and easier to install and dismantle, and can be used in both permanent and temporary berthing systems.
For high-frequency berthing environments, we recommend inflatable fenders. During manufacturing, we use multiple layers of high-strength nylon cord fabric and high-quality natural rubber, employing an overall vulcanization molding process to give the product excellent wear resistance, aging resistance, seawater resistance, and UV resistance. With proper maintenance, it can be used stably for a long time, reducing total life cycle costs.
To better match different working conditions, Aorunda Rubber welcomes you to customize your Inflatable Fenders. Diameter, length and rated pressure, fender type, end structure and connection method, etc. can all be matched according to the actual working conditions. Universal customization is not recommended.

Inflatable fenders are best suited for the following conditions:
Berthing of large vessels, including container ships, tankers, and LNG carriers.
Docks with high berthing energy and low permissible reaction forces.
Ports with large tidal ranges and unstable berthing angles.
Temporary docks, emergency berthing, and offshore platforms.
International engineering projects, especially those requiring ISO 17357/classification society certification.
Aorunda recommends that you inflate the fender to the recommended working pressure to avoid overpressure. Deflating should be done slowly and in stages.
When berthing, the fender should not come into direct contact with sharp objects, steel cables, or metal edges. For temporary berthing, ensure the fender is well supported to prevent excessive localized stress. After each use, clean off seawater, silt, and oil. Regularly check the appearance, fabric layer, and air valves for damage. Store the fender carefully, avoiding scratches from sharp objects or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
